Hats off to the Malaysian Bird Report. Revolutionary in design, … it broke the mould of a longish line of predecessors … & at a level of attractiveness never quite reached before. Overall, a real feast, setting bird reporting off in previously unexplored directions.

a wonderful initiative to document the avifauna of the country, spark greater interest in birds, encourage the writing up of detailed observations, and create an important repository of avian information that will be a treasure trove for anyone interested in Malaysian ornithology

I fully support this work as it will benefit our birders community as well as the Malaysian public. It is such a valuable thing if the birders community can share their findings through the reports and make it visible to the public .... and raise awareness on environmental issues

I am keenly aware of the value of documentation of bird behaviour; there is much to learn about the behaviour of the birds we encounter. Hence the publication would definitely encourage birdwatchers and photographers to document the bird behaviour they observe.
